Hi from wet and rainy PEI!!

I'm in an internet cafe while the kiddos are off to their camps.
A and I are really really enjoying the gymnastics camp. Having lots of fun and learning new things.
There is a coach from Calgary there and they are getting great training. He has said that the girls have great skills basics and can tell they've been very well coached back home.

The little ones have been going to a camp for 4 and 5 year olds, at UPEI. Just for the mornings so I can get a bit of a break.
It is a little hectic with 6 kids, but its running smoothly.
It's been raining everyday, but they've played anyway. Gotta love rubber boots.
Sorry no pics, Barb and I have both forgotten to take out our cameras. Been too busy setting the trailer up and getting kids organized. I think we have things figured out now.

Keep your fingers crossed for the rain to stop!!!

today getting groceries, I stopped to get myself a coffee at the "self serve" counter. As I filled my coffee with some milk,

Lily looked at me and said, "we get milk from a cow!!" "yup" I replied as I then moved over to the coffee machine, and filled my cup.

She then looked at me and asked..."what animal pees out coffee?"

Frank has taken all the kiddos to SJ to visit his mom and plant the garden. They'll be back later tonight!
I'm going to spend the day catching up on cleaning,(and not have muddy boots run on my newly washed floors), listen to music, (that isn't sung by someone under the age of 16) drink my coffee (while its still hot), and maybe even go for a walk, (without pulling 2 bikes, and scooping up dog poop at the same time)

sigh..............


I miss them already.

I'm sick.

My nose is running like a faucet.
My throat hurts.
My head hurts.
My chest aches from coughing.

My house is clean,
I've washed floors, did dishes, tidied up the playroom
All the laundry is done.
Frank is still at work, gone since 5:30am. Its 9pm.
I'm tired.

Abigail made me home made chicken soup and Isabelle baked chocolate cherry cookies. They are such sweet kids!

I'm going to bed with some nice strong cold medicine, and a hot lemon and honey toddy.

I will feel better in the morning!! That's my mantra....

LOOK!! My mom bought me these cool new sneakers.. that LIGHT UP!!!

I've never seen anything like them...
and I can't quite figure out how they work..

Maybe if I press on them they'll light up...

hmmm.. maybe there are directions on the box..
