Once you go MAC you never go back. :) Long story short - great for the kids. iLife Suite is SWEET for photos - sharing, keeping track of, minor editing. You are also considerably less likely to get a virus on a MAC. If you have the $ and the willingness to learn it is a great way to go.

I love my MAC .....it is awesome. Come over and play with it if you want to see if you like it !
